Support Doubles are a relatively new convention, but they fill an important role in the auction and have quickly become popular for all levels of player. The concept is simple: a double by the opener shows three-card support for responder's suit as long as responder can rebid his suit on the 2-level.
There are two big dangers with Support Doubles: 1) that one partner or the other forgets about them, 2) That we misapply support doubles and force partner higher than we want to be.
This quiz will make sure you understand the basics of this useful tool.
