If you want/need four tricks, play the ace and low to the J, hoping for Qxx onside. If you need three tricks from the suit, you can play K, then low to the ace, and then towards the jack. This yields three tricks whenever LHO has the Q (same as finesse), whenever East has Qx (improvement), or whenever the suit is 3-3.
