In this Series Michael will discuss when your partner’s bids are Game Forcing, 1-Round Forcing, Not Forcing, and Sign Off. It’s very important to know which bids belong in each of these categories.
Game Forcing. Having a good supply of game forcing calls will allow your partnership to bid without worrying about a surprise pass. Being able to go slowly can help you pick the right game or explore for slam. Recorded Webinar
One-Round Forcing. Sometimes, you need your partner to give a little more explanation or give you more time to fully describe your hand. Bids that force for one round guarantee that partner will keep the auction open for you. Recorded Webinar
Not Forcing. Sometimes partner makes a "descriptive" bid. Do you have to bid? No! Can you, if you have something interesting? Absolutely! This week, Michael tackles those "descriptive", non-forcing calls. Recorded Webinar
"Sign Off". "Sign off" might be the most overused term in bidding. This episode will discuss why most bids don't fit in this "sign off" category, but will show some times when partner expects you to keep your mouth shut. Recorded Webinar
