To Compete or Not to Compete?

To Compete or Not to Compete?

Deciding whether to compete to a higher level or not is one of the toughest decisions in bridge. If you overcompete and get doubled, you will find yourself with a poor score. If you leave the opponents to their own devices, however, you may also get a bad result. How do you know?

The LAW encourages you to bid to the level of your fit (bidding to the 3-level with 9 trumps). You must also recognize when you have extra offensive values (or lack defensive values).

Test your decision making with this tough quiz.
