Michael Teaches The Final Countdown
$50.00 For Series
Learn how to count in all situations over this 5-week series. Counting is one of the hardest skills to develop as a bridge player. In this series, Michael will start at the beginning with the right way to count distribution as well as finding out where the missing points are located. Counting, when done right, can allow you to visualize the entire deal. It’s not out of reach, if you work on improving your skills incrementally.
Oct 22 - Counting points as a defender. One of the keys to defense is knowing how the points are divided among the hidden hands. Following the auction closely and inferring what is missing will allow you to defend better. Recorded Webinar
Oct 29 - Counting distributions. Stop counting 1, 2, 3, 4. Instead, we’ll go through how to count 13s. 4-3-3-3, 4-4-3-2, etc. Training your brain to recognize distributions will help as we get into more complex situations. Recorded Webinar
Nov 5 - Count three suits and the 4th is free! Part 1 - If you can keep track of trump already, the next step is to thin out a side suit. If you can keep track of two suits, adding a third isn’t that hard. Once you have 3, the 4th is free since you can count! Recorded Webinar
Nov 12 – Count three suits and the 4th is free! Part 2 - We will reinforce and nail down the 3rd and 4th suits. Recorded Webinar
Nov 19 - The full picture. Now we can count out individual suits and picture the point distribution. We will be able to place all the cards and impress our partners! Recorded Webinar
