When is a King, not a King? Rethinking the points system and thinking about our honors.
Don't fall into the trap of thinking that all points are created equal. If you were dealt all 13 spades, you would only have 10 points, but you would make 7S! In this series, Michael will explore which points are actually worthwhile and help you evaluate and re-evaluate your hands.Prepare to look at your hand differently!

Great lesson today!
This was a phenomenal class. Thank you, Michael!
Very nice class!
Michael, my game has improved so much due to your webinars- I love your style!
Good webinar Michael! I will start thinking about fit more than points alone.
LOVE THIS REFRAMING OF MY BRAIN. WHY WE ARE HERE.
Thanks Michael. Great session.
Hi Michael, I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the recent “Hand evaluation” webinar-I watched it yesterday (being on the west coast I rarely end up watching it in real time). Your teaching method is so clear; you’re able to “dumb it down” for lack of a better word and you always make me laugh! I’m learning a ton-I am a slave to point count even though I know better but when I learned bridge in 2016 that was the focus. I am trying to break away from that (not easy).
I am really enjoying Kit’s lessons as well. Some of the concepts are advanced...I want to be “coddled” but I also want to be “pushed” and the different teachers and webinars provide that. Thank you.*

Response: Hi Karen,
Thanks so much for the email! One of the things I like best about bridge is how it seems that whenever we reach a new level, we see that there's still so much more ahead. The hardest part of teaching is to show a little bit of that without it feeling too intimidating. I'm glad that between us at Bridge with Larry Cohen, we're providing a bit of balance between the very difficult and the approachable.
Please let me know if you ever have any questions.
