This IS THE BEST CLASS I HAVE TAKEN WITH YOU and I have taken all your classes since you began…Congratulations. This format is perfect teaching!
Terrific, as always!
I think Larry’s most recent lesson on “Should I Go?” was the most helpful yet to my primary partner. I have been trying to encourage him to bid more aggressively when it comes to going for game and I think now he finally sees the light. You are able to put into words what I have been unable to get across to him. I call it card sense but you are able to actually describe the thought process for making the decision about passing or going for game. For example, I never thought to say if you have a singleton – go for it. Having the examples where two hands with the same HCP was brilliant. But having one with a lower HCP and going for it finally made the point to him that it is not always just about HCP. He is an engineer and he loves rules and this last lesson finally got across that you don’t have to have a rule for everything. I am hopeful that rather than always downgrading his hand every single time he will begin to learn how to upgrade a hand thanks to your lesson.
So I can honestly say that every webinar just keeps getting better and better. I will continue to sign up for all of Larry’s lessons regardless of the topic. All of them have been helpful to me and I particularly look forward to the one on Reverses since my partner continues to say he doesn’t play them.
