Balancing

Balancing

Deciding whether to balance or not is a difficult decision for all levels of player. My least favorite contract is when the opponents play in a fit in two-of-a-major. As such, I'd balance frequently in that scenario. Other than that, you want to think about bidding to the level of your fit (following the Law of Total Tricks) and pay attention to vulnerability. See how well you handle these balancing problems.

For the quiz, you will always be South and playing matchpoint (duplicate) scoring.
