Control bidding is a key part of looking for slam. While Keycard Blackwood will prevent you from bidding slam missing 2 Keycards, control bidding is how you can know that when you get to slam you won't be losing the first two tricks in a side suit. The standard method of control bidding is to show a first or second round control: an ace, a king, a singleton or a void. In order to control bid, you need to have suit agreement and be in a game forcing auction. See how well you know your control bids in this quiz.
